Avengers: Endgame's Directors Respond To Leak And Spoilers

"Please don't spoil it for others."

Less than two weeks out from its theatrical release, spoilers for Marvel's highly anticipated superhero blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame, have leaked online. As the culmination of more than a decade's worth of storylines, Endgame is a major event for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Marvel Studios urges fans not to ruin it for others.

Following the news of the leak, Endgame directors the Russo brothers have penned an open letter, which was shared on Marvel Studios' official Instagram and Twitter accounts with the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame. The letter thanks fans for following along on this decade-long cinematic journey and entreats them not to share spoilers for Endgame.

"For all of you who have been on this journey with us since the very beginning, sharing every high and low with your family, your friends, your classmates, your co-workers," the letter reads. "Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga.

"Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we're once again asking for your help. When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don't spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn't want it spoiled for you. Remember, Thanos still demands your silence."

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters in the US next week, on April 26. The film marks the end of the Infinity Saga, which began back in 2008 with the original Iron Man. Marvel is expected to provide the first details on Phase 4 of the MCU after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.

In response to the leak, the Marvel subreddit has gone on temporary lockdown so that moderators can figure out a way to sift through potential reveals. If you're hoping to go into the movie untainted, here are 15 ways you can avoid Avengers: Endgame spoilers.

OK I will spoil everything for you because I'm a bad guy:

When the Avengers attack him Thanos uses the gems and makes Iron Man and Captain America fall in love with each other. They abandon the fight and start planning their wedding. Bucky gets so mad about it, he comes back to life and brings every dusted living being across the universe with him. He crashes the wedding and kills Tony. A heart broken Cap lashes out on Thanos (he could never be mad at Bucky) and beats him to a purple pulp.

Captain Marvel becomes so annoying Thor tries to hit her in the head with his axe for real this time. He misses, she gets mad and feeds him his own balls. After that Thor follows his dream and becomes a hair stylist.

Thanos doesn't really die. He "rewrites" himself as a mutant from the future named Cable and unites the MCU and the X-Men universe as as an act of atonement.

Rocket Raccoon tries to use the gauntlet to turn himself into a human. He turns the Black Widow into a female raccoon instead. He seems to prefer this outcome...

Ant Man tries to do the rear end thing but it smells so bad in there he ends up killing himself. He comes back to life with the dusted but never truly recovers.

In the end of the movie the surviving Avengers ask Captain Marvel to take the gems and hide them in the universe as far as possible no matter how long it takes. They have a party the moment she flies away.

The after credits scene is about Spiderman and Pepper Potts being devastated by Tony's death and trying to comfort each other. They end up having sex. Peter becomes her sex toy. Or is this Tony's personal hell inside the soul gem? The movie doesn't clarify that.

I did not experience any lows in the MCU. I skipped Captain Marvel.
