Now Playing: Avengers: Endgame Trailer 3 Breakdown And What You Might Have Missed

Avengers: Endgame is coming on April 26, and the opening of ticket sales came alongside a brand new trailer. This final installment in the Infinity Saga is a long one at just over three hours, but if that's still not enough Marvel for you, you may want to revisit the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in theaters, all in one go.

Select AMC theaters (in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco) and the Alamo Drafthouse are planning marathon screenings of all 22 MCU movies. Altogether they clock in at almost 60 hours. That's two and a half days of noble superheroes, dastardly villains, witty quips, and whatever Thor: The Dark World was. Those who shell out for the massive marathon get to start watching Endgame slightly earlier than everyone else, at 5 PM on Thursday, April 25. Other screenings begin at 6 PM.

The lengthy runtime of Endgame has raised some concerns that theater managers won't have as much space to pack in more showtimes, but that doesn't seem to have impacted its box office expectations. According to estimates, the movie is expected to nearly match the take of Infinity War, which is the current record-holder for opening weekend.

Endgame is the culmination of more than ten years of Marvel films. Marvel began seeding a large, interconnected universe with the release of Iron Man in 2008, and then started to hint at Thanos as a key villain as early as 2012's Avengers. Infinity War was the first part of the long-awaited story, and it didn't end happily for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Endgame will conclude the arc, which Marvel recently dubbed the Infinity Saga.

I remember as lord of the rings: return of the king came out, I bought tickets for me and all my friends to a marathon of the movies that culminated in ROTK at midnight. It was especially cool considering how they played the extended editions of Fellowship and Two Towers which we had never gotten to see in theaters before.

That was like.... 12 hours with intermissions. Reasonable, and it was like $25 per person. All the Marvel movies is insane, I am glad they are offering it but if you have to sleep, and miss like 3 of the movies at minimum, in the middle of the marathon just to stay comfortable, not worth doing imo.
