Less than two weeks out from its theatrical release, spoilers for Marvel's highly anticipated superhero blockbuster, Avengers: Endgame, have leaked online. As the culmination of more than a decade's worth of storylines, Endgame is a major event for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Marvel Studios urges fans not to ruin it for others.

Following the news of the leak, Endgame directors the Russo brothers have penned an open letter, which was shared on Marvel Studios' official Instagram and Twitter accounts with the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame. The letter thanks fans for following along on this decade-long cinematic journey and entreats them not to share spoilers for Endgame.

"For all of you who have been on this journey with us since the very beginning, sharing every high and low with your family, your friends, your classmates, your co-workers," the letter reads. "Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga.

"Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we're once again asking for your help. When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don't spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn't want it spoiled for you. Remember, Thanos still demands your silence."

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters in the US next week, on April 26. The film marks the end of the Infinity Saga, which began back in 2008 with the original Iron Man. Marvel is expected to provide the first details on Phase 4 of the MCU after the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.

In response to the leak, the Marvel subreddit has gone on temporary lockdown so that moderators can figure out a way to sift through potential reveals. If you're hoping to go into the movie untainted, here are 15 ways you can avoid Avengers: Endgame spoilers.
