Ubisoft Australia has announced the upcoming beta period for its upcoming tactical shooter, Rainbow Six: Siege. GameSpot Australia readers can grab a key from this website, which will grant access to the beta when it kicks off on September 25.
Rainbow Six: Siege was originally slated to launch in October, but it was recently delayed to December for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will be getting several maps as free DLC after launch.
Ubisoft has high hopes for Siege, as the publisher said back in May that the game has the potential to become the company's best-selling FPS ever, surpassing Far Cry 4. At the time, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that replayability "will be key to the game's success."
GameSpot got hands on with the game at E3 earlier this year; check out our impressions to see what we thought of the game thus far.
