Halo 3 retained its place at number one again for the fourth week in a row in the overall Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS kept its previous week's spot at number two, while Drawn to Life also remained in third. The week of October 15-21 proved to be a good week for virtual pets, with Nintendo DS games Catz in fifth place and Dogz in ninth. Sony's popular karaoke franchise SingStar continues to sell strongly on the PlayStation 2 with three games from the series appearing in the overall charts. Its latest iteration, SingStar Rock Ballads, finished the week in 10th spot.

In other charts news, Folklore debuted at number seven in the PlayStation 3-specific chart.
