Aussie game charts: October 13-19

Saints Row 2 debuts in third place; Wii Fit continues to reign supreme.

Wii Fit spent another week at the top of the Australian game charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia.

The Wii Play bundle--which comes with a bonus Wii Remote--has moved up one place from last week to sit in second for the week of October 13-19. THQ's open-world crime-sim Saints Row 2 for the Xbox 360 made its debut at number three, while the PlayStation 3 version of the game can be found in fifth place. Mario Kart Wii has retained its fourth place standing from the previous week. Lego Batman also entered the sales arena strongly, scoring the sixth position during its maiden week. Meanwhile, Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition fell significantly from second place to its current spot at number seven. It has been a while since the Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl saw some top 10 action, but this week it returned to take out the eighth spot. While the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 versions of FIFA Soccer 09 dropped out of the overall top 10, the PS3 version still managed to snag place number nine. Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? rounded out the list in 10th place.
