WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 takes out the top spot; Mass Effect sneaks in despite not officially being released.

WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 for the PlayStation 2 has dominated the Australian game charts, debuting at number one in the overall list according to data trackers GfK Australia. The previous iteration of the franchise was the best-selling sports game of 2007 in Australia.

The Simpsons Game on the PS2 and Nintendo DS took out second and third place, respectively, for the week of November 12 to November 18. Last week's number two--Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on the PS2--fell to number five. Disney's music-based game High School Musical: Sing It! for the PS2 took out the sixth position, whereas High School Musical: Makin' the Cut for the DS debuted in the eighth spot. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare narrowly scraped in at number nine, and Crysis finished off the week at number 10.

Despite not being officially released down under, Mass Effect--which was prematurely sold by some retailers for a short period--managed to sneak into the Xbox 360 charts at number nine.
