Aussie game charts: July 6-12

Wii Play knocks Wii Fit from the top of the charts.

In a rare turn of events, the Wii Play bundle, which usually plays second fiddle to its brother, Wii Fit, has this week turned the tables to take out the number one spot in the overall sales charts according to data trackers GfK Australia. Wii Fit was left to lick its wounds in the very respectable second place.

Despite falling several spots during the previous weeks on the charts, The Sims 3 seems to be making a comeback by rising three places to take out fourth overall for the week of July 6-12. EA's other franchise, Fight Night Round 4, has taken a few blows to the head this week, with the PlayStation 3 version dropping down to spot five and the Xbox 360 version narrowly making it into the charts in 10th place.
