WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 for the PS2 proved its dominance down under yet again, securing the title of Australia's top-selling game for the last week of 2006.

Sony's current-gen console took out the top three spots in the Australian game sales charts for the week of December 25-31, according to data trackers GfK Australia. The PS2 version of EA's Need for Speed Carbon took out second position, while sports fans lapped up Cricket 07, sending it to third spot in the charts.

The two next-generation consoles available in Australia--the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii--each had a sole representative in the top 10. The Xbox 360 claimed fourth position with Gears of War, while The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess staked out the eighth spot for the Wii.

While the PS2 had the most titles in the top 10 for any individual console, the Nintendo DS was close behind with three entrants--Nintendogs: Dalmatian and Friends, New Super Mario Bros., and The Sims 2: Pets.
