Following on from the reasonable success of 2009's Ghostbusters: The Game, Atari has released its second game under the popular 1980's license on Xbox Live Arcade this week, with the PlayStation 3 version to follow shortly. Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime takes an isometric view of the action and puts you in the boots of the rookie as you cleanse New York of ghosts. Unlike the previous game, Sanctum of Slime supports cooperative play for up to four players both online and offline. Naturally, classic Ghostbusters weaponry like the protron pack and the plasma inductor are here, but be careful not to cross the streams!

Things are fairly quiet this week at Sony's virtual store, with the most interesting releases being access to the SOCOM: Special Forces beta for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and the anticipated release of Resident Evil: Director's Cut. The SOCOM beta gives PS3 owners a taste of what's to come when the game is released on April 21, with four different game modes and three unique maps available now. Resident Evil: Director's Cut on the other hand is a straight port of the old PlayStation game that falls in line with the other PS Classics that have made their way onto the PlayStation Network Store.

Where's Wally makes his WiiWare debut this week, bringing the classic picture book puzzler to Nintendo's home console. On the off-chance that you're not familiar with the formula of the popular children's book, Where's Wally sees players find Wally (a guy in a red-and-white striped shirt) among an enormous crowd of people.
