Ironically, all of the big games to arrive across Xbox Live, PlayStation Network Store, and DSiWare this week started off life as PC games and have somehow found their way onto consoles. After taking the PC indie scene by storm in 2009, Torchlight makes its console debut on Xbox Live Arcade. The main changes to the game come in the form of an overhaul to the controls and interface, which was a requirement to get a game designed for a keyboard working properly on a console. On top of that, new content, such as armour and pets, has been added, as well as improved graphics, which have been borrowed from the Torchlight II engine.

On the Aussie PlayStation Network Store this week, the big new release was Back to the Future: The Game - Episode I: It's About Time. The second episode will soon be on the PC, so it's about time PS3 owners got in on the action. Set after the third movie, the game sees Marty McFly juggling the future of Doc Brown's estate, while trying to work out what has happened to him after the DeLorean mysteriously returns minus the Doc. True to Telltale's form, It's About Time is a point-and-click adventure that seems to have hit most of the right notes with fans of the series. (link to review here)

DSiWare is the only Nintendo downloadable service to see any action this week, with the release of Shapo. Simply put, this one is a Zuma-type game that sees players attempt to fill holes with balls. The shtick here is that the board is on a seesaw, so players will have to make sure that both sides are balanced; otherwise the board will tick over.
