AU Shippin' Out May 4-8: Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce

It's slim pickings down under this week with portable title Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce leading the charge.

Like April, May's first full week isn't treating gamers too kindly. Sony platforms dominate the week's releases, with the PlayStation 2 and PSP seeing a new title each.

For those of you who need to get your Dynasty Warriors fix on the go, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce has you covered. Developer Koei has focused the battles a bit more this time around, shedding fighting massive battles in favour of raiding enemy complexes. You can also team up with three other players in ad hoc mode to fight cooperatively.

The other title to come out this week is Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden for the PS2. Like the previous game, Ultimate Ninja 4 is a fighting game. It's set two years after Naruto has left the Hidden Leaf Village, only to return and find that a group of bad guys have moved in and are in need of a good beating. Expect to see Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce in stores around Australia on Thursday, while Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden comes out a day later on Friday.

Thankfully the rest of the month isn't as bleak as this week's releases. Pokemon Platinum, UFC Undisputed 2009, Bionic Commando, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and many more are slated for release in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
