THQ heads back to the virtual octagon with UFC Undisputed 3.

After an 18-month break, the UFC Undisputed franchise returns this week, bringing with it a variety of changes. One of the biggest additions to UFC Undisputed 3 is the inclusion of the now-defunct Pride league and its fighters. Since Pride had fewer rules than the UFC, players can now stomp opponents on the ground and kick them when they try to stand up. The controls have also undergone a redesign, with two different control layouts being introduced for rookies and veterans. UFC Undisputed 3 also marks the first time that an Aussie mixed martial artist has appeared in the game, with George Sotiropoulos representing Australia.

The only other retail game out this week is NeverDead, from Konami. Players assume the role of an immortal demon hunter who needs to stop a horde of supernatural enemies from taking over a city. The game was released in the US last week and was met with mixed reviews, so be sure to read up on it before heading out to pick it up.
