THQ and LucasArts have announced that a game based on the upcoming Star Wars sequel--Episode II: Attack of the Clones--is being developed for the Game Boy Advance. Players will be able to select from one of three different characters--Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Anakin Skywalker--as they fight various foes, such as Jango Fett and Count Dokoo. The game will also feature a number of different styles of gameplay, including swoop bike and Republic fighter races, space combat, and side-scrolling levels in which players will be able to use the Jedi lightsaber. These events will take place against the backdrop of various Star Wars locales such as Tatooine, Geonosis, and Coruscant.

Attack of the Clones is scheduled for release alongside the film this spring.
