Focus Entertainment and Deck13 have announced that Atlas Fallen will be delayed until August 10, 2023.

"Our goal has always been to create a memorable A-RPG experience in a unique setting, with exciting gameplay and the option for fully playable seamless co-op with a friend. We'd love to give the game some extra time which will allows us to deliver the best possible version of Atlas Fallen," Deck13 explained in a statement on Twitter.

Now Playing: Atlas Fallen - "Rise from Dust" Gameplay Reveal Trailer

It continued, "To achieve this we have made the difficult decision to delay the worldwide launch of Atlas Fallen to August 10, 2023. We apologize for this disappointing news."

The studio also said that it will be back during the early summer to share more updates on the game, including new gameplay footage, including a first look at the game's drop-in co-op gameplay.

Atlas Fallen shouldn't be confused with 2014's Lords of the Fallen, where Deck13 was the developer for both games. They are both unrelated to each other and are completely separate games. To make matters more complicated, a new developer, Hexworks, is also currently working on a Lords of the Fallen soft reboot game which was originally revealed as Lords of the Fallen 2 before it was renamed...twice.

Atlas Fallen was originally set to launch on May 16, and this release date was only announced earlier this month. However, plans have now changed. The game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
