Midway Entertainment subsidiary Atari Games has picked up Radikal Bikers, a "Road-Rash-meets-Paper-Boy" arcade title and has it headed toward a June release.

In the new title, the player is a motor-bike riding pizza delivery man, who must make it to the finish line and delivery his pie before his computer-controlled rival. The setting is a city rife with obstacles that get him down (such as parked and moving cars) and power-ups to help him win (such as turbo speed and power kick, a move that destroys cars).

Over 20 shortcuts are hidden within the game's 12 courses.

The game is being developed by Spanish software and hardware developer Gaelco, the company behind the recently released Atari Games snowboarding coin-op, Surf Planet.
