Atari be-Witched in Europe

French company signs deal to distribute CD Projekt's RPG in Europe and Asia; no deal made yet for North America.

Fantasy role-playing game The Witcher finally has a home...in North America and Asia. Atari and CD Projekt have entered a publishing deal that will see Atari distribute the game in the aforementioned regions in spring 2007. In the game, players will become Geralt, a hero with supernatural abilities who battles nefarious characters. The Witcher does not yet have a publisher in North America.
