Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin's Creed Valhalla and released its first trailer, and the company also shared the first screenshots--they are stunning.

The screenshots showcase the game's main character--Eivor, who can be male or female--in a variety of unique environments. The loveliest shot, in my eyes, depicts Eivor standing on top of a hill overlooking a village with the sun peeking through the clouds. Another image shows a dramatic battle scene, while others showcase some of the colder and wetter environments that players will visit in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
