Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag confirmed, getting exclusive PS3 content

I hope the exclusive content is just Henry Rollins screaming at Desmond for like 60 minutes!

I can't even get through an Assassin's Creed game without another one being announced anymore. Oh well, looks like this one might just stick with current gen, which is nice I guess.

this is cool i skipped the last Ac and look now it well be cominf to the next gen a be v10 times more beautiful and fun then ever cant wait to see it

It would be such a twist if in the beginning we see another protagonist exiting a future animus after visiting his ancestor Desmond

At least this game will score on two things: Improved naval combat, which is already very good, and no more Desmond. Yay!

Box art is horrendous. Pretty disappointing after how cool the AC3 cover looked.

If only AC3 played from the beginning like the hype trailer.

Weird how Ubisoft would make a game based on the novel... But interesting. I'm sure we'll get to see Haytham in his teens, when he was still a good guy (before he became a Templar).

why do people always complain about AC3 just being the same old, without anything new in it? when actually they made a new engine for it and everything there was build from the ground up and all the new things in it like naval combat, tree climbing, hunting, new combat system and lets not forget a fresh new setting with a great new character and a great story (except for the ending), so there was a lot of effort put into it.

also stop whining for an asian AC with ninjas already, i mean it would be cool and all but there are other less known settings that we might visit in the games, and pirates are a great choice in my opinion since i always wanted to play a good pirate game, but there kinda arent any, so i like the idea of it.

Lets face it, we all want to play this just for the pirate speak.

so many whiners here. I for one am very excited for this game, not for the setting, but for the story it will tell. if the rumors are true and it is Haytham's Father, then I'm all for playing it. And for people saying it's too soon, it's coming in 2014, 2 years after three, and since i doubt they'll have any other ACs in the works, you have no reason to complain if all the people who work on the AC series are working on this. That means all their efforts will go towards this game

Tiresome, everybody is just milking every successful series nowadays, of course this was done before, but I have a feeling we're reaching singularity point.

This sounds like Assassins Creed the Pirat expansion, I won't get it unless all the bugs and glitches are fixed.

AC discs should have a label saying : " Expires in one year after release date " .

Would be interesting to see how they incorporate "stealth" mechanics in the loud brutal world of pirates.

That box cover needs some serious work; looks corny. This whole "pirate" idea seems so contrived, simply because the naval battles were the most fun for so many in ACIII.

I'll be alright with this....as long as Assassin's Creed V has ninjas in it.

I like the series a lot I don't mind it being released every year as long as it offers new features
