@mike12431 What Happened when you used to have to pay upwords of $70 for new games?

Awesome! I get to further enjoy my favorite game of 2009 for less than $10! Ubisoft Montreal are really going all out to satisfy their fans.

This is what all DLC of this size (which is most) should be priced. I only bought one 10 dollar DLC ever. 4 bucks is just great. and for those who argue for the company to just include the DLC in the game in the first place,.... I see where you're coming from but the games already have a lot of stuff usually and the company does not want to take too long making the game, and besides, companies are meant to make money...common sense lol. most DLC is either semi-related to the main storyline of the game or a complete offshoot, so most would be out of place if included in the original copy of the game

@Urizen5 Lol i think they have made more than just some extra $. A $60 price tag is more than just a little extra cash in their pockets. What happened to the days where you would pay like 40-20 bucks on newly released games.

Anyone know if they will release those on the PC version? I held out for that but if not I'll be getting the 360 version?

@mike12431 I don't see how this is a scam. A game was made then sold, now they made extra stuff outside of the game and are selling it for a cheap price. So they want to make some extra $. so what? Don't buy it then. The original isn't diminished, it just extra stuff, like buying songs for rockband or GH. no different. Now i understand you can have overpriced DLC, but in this case it's worth the price in my eyes.

@CWSoccer07 This DLC was planned before the game came out. my point is this DLC should have been on the disc. This is just another scam. Do you honestly think that the developers haven't made enough money off of this game. Even if its only $4 that means they are going to make $4 off of a few million people just because they didnt put it on the disc because it's a DLC

Yea CWSoccer07 nailed it. Basically if the game had this stuff included in the box, the same people would whine about the game being delayed... I personally love DLC, because it makes me want to revisit my games and let's me take a break as I do have a habit of beating them in a few good runs. Bottom line is without DLC you'd have to wait for a tacked on sequel or a really delayed game.

@mike12431, Ignorant thought process. It's not logically to think that development after the release of a game would be free. Do you work for free?? With this generation they found a way to keep people interested in games without having to build an entirely new game. So they can add onto the story because the gamers don't want to wait 2 years until the next game like that comes out.

Yesss, I can't wait for the DLC. In my book, this game is game of the year, hell the decade.

Wow never seen so many ignorant people, that actually think that game developers purposefully under-develop a game so they can release DLC. DLC wasn't available on consoles until this generation. It's not that they are not finishing games and releasing DLC instead, they are finding ways of getting more money out of a product without having to build an entirely new game. I'd like someone to say that Fallout 3 was an unfinished game and the 3 DLCs were just left out on purpose. Fallout 3 had well over 100 hours of gameplay. Idiots.

Any kind of DLC is a rip off unless of course its free. I could care less if it was only a dollar, the point is that a game should have everything in the disc and included in the price.

Why is everyone whinning about this DLC? You've never bought an expansion pack? I mean 4 to 5 bucks! Cheap! Even if this was a marketing scheme, so what, it's cheap and seems to be an expansive DLC. This is what DLC should be. This is cheaper than 5 songs at the i store, and certainly you get more out of it than listening to those few songs. To me, this is how a DLC should be. Extra stuff for a good price for a good game, win win win all the way.

Sounds like it'll be well worth the money, hopefully the stories themselves will be somewhat strong and not rushed.

I don't think you can complain about the price for the amount of DLC you're getting, especially when you consider the quality and amount of gameplay you get from the actual game itself. I'll definitely be getting both of these additions.

Well that's good news. The prices are more than reasonable. Does anyone know if a patch will be released prior to DLC, and if so, when? PM me. :)

Only 4 bucks? Thats awesome. Nothing wrong with DLC for such a great game. I got my money worth from this one and this is a must get in my eyes.

I got the game for $12 from Gamestop after trading in L4D and CoD WaW, so I don't mind spending $9 for DLC :)

Still waiting for the damn PC version...

I played through this once, and even with out doing all the side missions and "collectathon" stuff I put in over 30 hours. That's pretty fair time for the money, I have no issue if Ubi wants to charge for for more...

I don't really like paying for DLC, but when you have something good, you have something good. I still wished they had included these memories in the game but the price is right for this particular game.

Good to hear to me. As much as I would like stuff to be included early on, I'll be glad to be have more to play. I beat the game and got a Platinum Trophy, so this is welcome to me. I was wondering about that extra district of Florence, figured it was in DLC. I also wondered about the short time spent in Romagna. Too bad the flying is restricted to this region alone though. Can't wait =)

wheres the pc version? if it comes out after the dlc is available the the pc version should come with them

@EveryoneWhoPaysForDLC, If you paid for the game at the general retail price and if the game is still being sold at the same amount, why would you pay again for DLC? If a game dev is planning to have DLC I think it would be right if they were to sell the game at a reduced general price. In this case it should be $55.99 launch price.

i rarely pay for DLC, but this looks like something I might buy.

DLC are a ripoff the studio just wants to make more money same thing in fallout 3 that is why pc will be the best platform forever they don't get forced to pay for something that should be free. but multiplayer will be interesting how they add to the game hope it will good and not like the ending to this game. Can't wait to be able to fly around too

@Tripwolf: Your ignorance is laughable. Why do you think AC2 has been so highly praised? Because it did away with the repetitiveness. If you played the game or even read a single review you'd know that, but ignorance must truly be bliss. Well-priced DLC is a godsend. DLC that's outrageously expensive (I'm looking at you, music genre and map-pack makers) is what hurts games.

Hopefully when the PC version is released these DLC will be included.
