Following Electronic Arts last week, Assassin's Creed publisher Ubisoft today announced when it will hold its annual Electronic Entertainment Expo media briefing. You can look for it to go down on June 9 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles starting at 3 p.m.

We will have all the news from the show as it happens. Meanwhile, EA's E3 media briefing will take place earlier that same day at 12 p.m. PDT. It's going to be a busy day, indeed. We're still waiting to hear from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo about their plans for the show.

There's no word yet on what Ubisoft has in store for this year's E3, but we expect them to talk about this year's Assassin's Creed Unity for sure. Could we also learn about the rumored Far Cry 4 during the event? We don't know, but tune in June 9 and you'll find out.

E3 2014 officially runs June 10-12. GameSpot will be in Los Angeles for the show in full force.
