Assassin's Creed Pirates, a mobile Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag spinoff for iOS and Android devices, will launch on December 5, Ubisoft announced today. Gamers can pick up the mobile game through the App Store, Google Play, and the Amazon Appstore on that date for $5.

In Assassin's Creed Pirates, players will explore the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy as a young captain named Alonzo Batilla. Players must manage their crew, upgrade their ship, and recruit new crew members as they take part in real-time naval battles.

During Assassin's Creed Pirates, players will cross paths with Assassins and Templars, as well as iconic pirates like Blackbeard, Bellamy, and Hornigold.

Developer Ubisoft Paris created an all-new mobile game engine for Assassin's Creed Pirates that promises "breathtaking" visuals for elements like water and islands. Check out a trailer for the game below.
