Off-road rally racing, stereoscopic 3D fighting, and classic role playing take the spotlight in this week's releases.

Even though F.3.A.R has been delayed until next month, gamers will still get to check out a bevy of titles this week. Heading the release frontlines is the next iteration of Codemasters' off-road series Dirt 3. The racing game ditches the extreme sports motif from the last sequel in favor of the classic rally setting of the first game. In addition, the game offers new multiplayer options, ranging from the cutout robot-ramming Invasion mode to the zombie-filled Outbreak mode. Dirt 3 will be out tomorrow and will be on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

Next up is the 3D fighting game Dead or Alive: Dimensions for the 3DS. Players will get to control fan-favorite characters like Kasumi, Ayane, and Tina Armstrong to either go head-to-head with someone online or check out the game's Chronicle mode. Next to the stereoscopic 3D effects for added depth, the game also has a StreetPass feature that creates AI representations of other players based on their fighting patterns and style. Dead or Alive: Dimensions will be out tomorrow.

Finally, players will get to slay fantasy creatures while splitting loot with other role-playing game enthusiasts in Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale. The latest video game adaptation of the pen-and-paper RPG franchise brings in an authentic Dungeons & Dragons experience that offers either solo or multiplayer modes. Daggerdale will be out on Wednesday for the PC and Xbox 360.
