After all the many releases in the past few weeks, it was only a matter of time until the schedules slowed down, and that's the case for the week of July 10. First out from the assembly line is the video game adaptation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2. Gamers will get to control Harry Potter and his wand-wielding friends to fight against the forces of Voldemort in the final part of the story in the Harry Potter universe. The game will be out tomorrow to coincide with the movie's theatrical release this Friday. For more on the series, check out GameSpot's review of Part 1.

Next up is another video game adaptation of an upcoming movie: Captain America: Super Soldier for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Players control Captain America as he faces off against the terrorist group Hydra containing the Red Skull, Madame Hydra, Arnim Zola, and Baron Strucker in a third-person action game setting. The game will have puzzles and quick-time events in between the acrobatic and shield-tossing combat. Players can expect to check out the further exploits of the first Avenger this Friday.

Lastly, gamers can look forward to playing as a self-combusting female sentient being in Twisted Pixel's Ms. 'Splosion Man. An obvious follow-up to 'Splosion Man two years ago, the game features new gameplay mechanics, 50 new single-player stages, enhanced network support, and more original music to hum to. Players can look forward to blowing things up real good this Wednesday when it's available on Xbox Live Arcade.
