Army Men Invade Dreamcast

Midway has announced that it has shipped 3DO's Army Men: Sarge's Heroes for the Sega Dreamcast. The game features 14 different single-player missions, and players can select from up to eight different characters in its deathmatch mode. Up to four players can compete in the game at once.

"Army Men is an established franchise that has achieved tremendous success on multiple platforms," said Helene Sheeler, vice president of marketing at Midway. "Midway's expertise in Dreamcast design has allowed us to update Army Men with stunning 128-bit technology."

Army Men: Sarge's Heroes for the Dreamcast will be available at retailers sometime this week.
