Arcanum heads to stores

Sierra has announced that its latest role-playing game, Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, has shipped to stores. The game is set in a fantasy world in which industrial revolution-era technology and magical powers clash. Players can assume the role of any one of a number of different types of characters, and they are free to explore the world as they choose.

Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura was developed by Troika Games, a studio founded by some of the creators of the Fallout role-playing game series. The game will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $44.95.
