Some of Arcade1Up's retro cabinets, tables, and countercades are on sale for their lowest prices ever as part of Best Buy's early Black Friday sale--which Amazon is matching for many products. Arcade1Up machines sport period-accurate decals, crisp displays, and fairly authentic controls that recapture the spirit of arcades. They also often boast features such as Wi-Fi functionality, multiplayer, online leaderboards, and light-up marquees. Some of Amazon's deals require you to click the coupon box below the price to get the full discount, while Best Buy's deals are exclusive to My Best Buy Plus/Total members until October 30.

Arcade1Up's head-to-head arcade tables are the most notable offers at Amazon and Best Buy. These tables, like the one shown in the picture above, are designed for two players to sit across from each other and compete in classic games. The Mortal Kombat arcade table, which is discounted to only $300 (normally $700), comes with 12 games:

  • Mortal Kombat
  • Mortal Kombat II
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
  • Rampage
  • Joust
  • Gauntlet
  • Defender
  • Gorf
  • Rootbeer Tapper
  • Klax
  • Toobin
  • Sinistar

Alternatively, you can pick up this classy Pong Arcade Table for $300 as well (normally $700). The Pong table also comes with 12 games: Pong, Pong Doubles, Pong Sports, QuadraPong, Tempest, Warlords, Circus Atari, Avalanche, Super Breakout, Major Havoc, Destroyer, and Indy 500.

Meanwhile, at Best Buy, the Marvel vs. Capcom arcade table is also down to $300 (normally $700). It includes a bunch of Marvel games, including X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, X-Men: Children of Atom, Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems, and more.

Not everyone has space for a full-size arcade table or cabinet, and that's where the countercades come in. These are essentially arcade units without the stand, meaning that you can place them on a desk or table and still get an authentic gaming experience out of them.

NBA Jam is the highlight of the countercade deal, and depending on your love for the game, you can grab either a standard edition that looks like it was ripped straight from a 1993 arcade, for $130 (normally $230). There's also a Pong Countercade available for $140 (normally $230), which has a delightful '70s style design to it and controls that replicate the input system of the original machine.
