DC and Warner Bros.' Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be arriving exclusively on Max on February 27, just two months after its theatrical opening. The Max official Twitter account posted the announcement Tuesday morning. It is the final entry of the DCEU that ran from 2013-2023, with the new DC movies being rebooted next year with Superman: Legacy.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom stars Jason Momoa, along with Patrick Wilson as Orn, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, and Nicole Kidman and Temeura Morrison as Aquaman's parents, all reprising their roles from the first feature. With the complete reboot in the works, Momoa doubts he'll return as Aquaman but is optimistic about working in the DC Universe again.

The DC Comics sequel $13.7 million on its first day, including $4.5 million from Thursday night previews. It went on to have an average opening weekend of $27.7 million, the fourth-lowest of the DCEU. It received mixed reviews (you can read GameSpot's actual glowing review here) and found itself at the center of more than one controversy. Despite that, it still managed to earn $430 million at the global box office.

If you want to see Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom now, it's already available to rent or buy on-demand on Prime Video for about $20.
