After a brief delay, the Apex Legends Valentine's Day Rendezvous event is now live. This is the first limited-time event for Season 4: Assimilation, the latest major content drop for Apex Legends that added Revenant as a playable character, as well as the new Sentinel sniper rifle, World's Edge map changes, and another battle pass.

Valentine's Day Rendezvous will continue for a week, ending on February 18. Log in at any time during the event and you'll earn a new badge. There are two new weapon charms that you can purchase as well. Duos mode also returns in Valentine's Day Rendezvous--last seen in November 2019, though there was a legendary-tier variation of Duos during the Grand Soiree Arcade event in January 2020 called Gold Rush Duos.

Now Playing: 1 Year Of Apex Legends: Highs, Lows, And Biggest Changes

The holiday-themed event also sees the return of the epic Through the Heart Longbow DMR skin and legendary Love the Game Pathfinder banner--both of which were available for only a limited time in February 2019. So if you happened to miss those cosmetics the first time around, here's your chance to nab them now.

There's actually been a lot of new content and gameplay changes in Apex Legends over its first year. Plenty of cosmetic items were only available for a limited time, so players who picked up the game during Season 2: Battle Charge or Season 3: Meltdown missed out on earning certain items. We'll have to wait and see if Respawn decides to continue handling Apex Legends' events like what's being done with Valentine's Day Rendezvous--offering new players a chance to buy older items they missed out on while giving veterans an opportunity to get new rewards.
