Apex Legends' January Prime Gaming Bundle Is a Treat For Rampart Players

Fans of cricket are also likely to be pleased by the sporty new cosmetic set.

Comments

Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment just released Season 15's third Prime Gaming bundle, this time focusing on a legend who often gets overlooked. January's bundle features a trio of cosmetics for Rampart (something that will no doubt please players who have previously complained about the character's lack of unique skins) including a legend skin and a matching banner frame. But no Rampart-themed collection is complete without one of her much-loved LMGs by her side, so a Spitfire weapon skin is included as well.

The new cosmetics feature a sporty theme, seemingly alluding to Rampart's love of cricket. (She's not alone in her love of sports--Loba can be seen playing soccer with Revenant's skull in an emote from the game's new Spellbound Collection). But unlike the Spellbound event's cosmetics, Rampart's new cosmetic bundle is only available to Amazon Prime subscribers. To redeem the set, visit the Apex Legends section of the Prime Gaming website. There, you can connect your Prime Gaming account to your EA account, allowing you to redeem your free legend loot.

Apex Legends' January Prime Gaming bundle includes the following cosmetics:

  • Home Turf Rampart banner frame (Rare)
  • All Rounder Spitfire weapon skin (Rare)
  • All Star Destruction Rampart legend skin (Epic)

But if you don't have a Prime Gaming subscription, there's no need to despair--you may still be able to get your hands on January's cosmetics by taking advantage of a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial. However, this won't work if you've used a free trial recently--the 30-day free trial promotion can only be activated once every 12 months. So if you've recently used a free trial, you won't be able to obtain the cosmetics without a Prime Gaming subscription.

Thankfully, Amazon Prime subscriptions aren't too pricey at $13.99/mo. If you're a student, you'll pay even less ($7.49/mo), and there's also a discount for people on government assistance via a program called Prime Access. Prime Access allows players who qualify for Medicaid, EBT, and other government assistance to purchase their Amazon Prime subscription for $6.49/mo.

These exclusive skins can only be obtained via Prime Gaming, and once they're gone, they're gone for good. If the new Rampart bundle has caught your eye, be sure to redeem your January Prime Loot bundle before time runs out.

Apex Legends is free to play on console and PC. A mobile version of the game, Apex Legends Mobile, is available for download on Android and iOS devices.
