Last week, we learned that pop singer Demi Lovato was recording a song for Sony's upcoming Angry Birds movie. Today, the "Heart Attack" singer confirmed that her contribution to the animated video game movie comes in the form of a cover of Gloria Gaynor's classic breakup song "I Will Survive."

The 23-year-old also shared a clip from the tune on Twitter. You can listen for yourself through the video below.

This isn't her first time recording a song for an animated movie, as Lovato also did one of the versions of "Let It Go" from Disney's hugely popular 2013 animated movie Frozen.

She's also not the only singer to have written a song for the Angry Birds movie, as country artist Blake Shelton did the same, though his track has not yet been revealed.

Another singer, Charli XCX (real name Charlotte Emma Aitchison), will voice a bird character named Willow. We also recently learned that two-time Oscar-winner Sean Penn has a part in the movie.

Angry Birds opens on May 20. It was written by Jon Vitti (The Simpsons, Ice Age) and directed by animation veterans Clay Kaytis (Frozen, Mulan) and Fergal Reilly (The Iron Giant, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs), who are making their directional debuts.

The movie's impressive voice cast also includes funny people like Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, and Maya Rudolph, as well as Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, among others.
