The latest series will be a bit different than what AHS fans are accustomed to.

Fans of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story have a lot more to look forward in the near future. Murphy announced that there is a spin-off series coming down the line.

Called American Horror Stories, the series will consist of one-hour long, self-contained episodes. Murphy posted an image on his Instagram making the announcement. The image shows the cast of the show in a video conference. However, the image was created by a AHS fan account, which you can check out below.

"American Horror Story cast zoom call," Murphy wrote on Instagram. "Where we reminisced about the good times...the spin off we're doing called American Horror Stories (one hour contained episodes)...when we will start filming the next season of the mothership...and other stuff I cannot print. It was so much fun and I'm glad we caught up. I miss everyone!"

Season 10 of the series is coming together, with Macaulay Culkin recently joining the cast alongside Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Finn Wittrock, Lily Rabe, Adina Porter, Leslie Grossman, Angelica Ross, Sarah Paulson, and Evan Peters. Series regulars Peters and Paulson were not involved in last year's season for the first time in the show's history.

AHS is in it for the long run as aside from the new spin-off, FX has renewed the show up until Season 13.
