The original Pink Ranger, Amy Jo Johnson is clapping back at fans who were claiming that she didn't suit up for Netflix's upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always due to low offers. Johnson played Kimberly Hart from 1993-1995 with almost 150 episodes under her belt as the character, one of the longest in franchise history.

Johnson is notably absent from One and Always with Catherine Sutherland as Kat Hillard in her stead. Johnson took to Twitter to bluntly tell fans whatever the reason why she wasn't in the special, it's none of their business.

"Please stop saying I didn't do [the] reunion because of money. Simply not true," she posted. "Maybe I just didn’t want to wear spandex in my 50s' or couldn't go to [New Zealand] for a month. Or none of [your] beeswax."

She continued by saying that both she and Jason David Frank chose not to be in it and they filmed the special before he passed away last November. Johnson was still pulling for her friends though in support.

"Excited to see my pals David Yost and Walter Jones rock it though!!"

It's interesting to note that Johnson had already confirmed she was not going to be a part of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once and Always, which is set to premiere on Netflix next month, but mentioned turning down the proposed offer.

"For the record, I never said no…I just didn’t say yes to what was offered," Johnson posted in January. "But other fun stuff is in store! Looking forward to watching my friends kick ass!"

In the years since her Ranger days, Johnson went on to play several television characters, such as Flashpoint's Jules Callaghan, Felicity's Julie Emrick, and directed the 2019 film Tammy's Always Dying. The actress also made a quick cameo alongside the late Frank for the 2017 film reboot of Power Rangers.
