FX announced the release date for the upcoming installment of American Horror Story. Season 12, named AHS: Delicate, is set to debut on September 20, according to a statement from the network posted on X , formerly known as Twitter.

The next season will have a split premiere, though as of this writing it's unclear how the episodes will stack up in each half of the season. In Season 11, two episodes aired consecutively each week.

Season 12 features Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne, and Emma Roberts in starring roles. The next anthology, under the leadership of showrunner Halley Feiffer, will present a contemporary feminist take on the classic horror tale Rosemary's Baby. The narrative is partly drawn from Danielle Valentine’s thriller novel, Delicate Condition, chronicling a woman's escalating certainty that an ominous force seeks to thwart her pregnancy.

This will also be the first season that will be written and show-run by a single person--Feiffer.

"Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish, and ultimately terrifying role, especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done," said AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy (via The Hollywood Reporter). "Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family."

Zachary Quinto, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Odessa A'zion, Debra Monk, and Julie Monk complete the cast ensemble.
