Data Becker has announced America Expansion Pack, an add-on for America, its real-time strategy game set in the Old West. The add-on includes eight new missions, a level editor, and support for online multiplayer games. In addition, the expansion features new units, new group members, and new structures, as well as several enhancements to the game engine. The new units featured in the expansion include the tomahawk warrior, the pioneer, the Gatling gun, the ironclad coach, and the saboteur. The new structures include the training camp, the restaurant, the tent of the elders, and the wood mill.

America was released in January 2001. The game is set in post-Civil War America, and it gives players the option to control one of four groups: settlers, Native Americans, Mexican Americans, or desperados.
