Ambrosia bringing games to the PC

Ambrosia Software has announced that Escape Velocity Nova and Deimos Rising will be released for the PC. Both games are currently available for the Mac. Escape Velocity Nova is the third game in the Escape Velocity series, which features space trading, ship customization, and overhead 2D combat and is reminiscent of classic PC games like Starflight and Star Control. Like the previous EV games, Nova features a large galaxy to explore, a nonlinear mission structure, and diplomatic choices to make as you take sides with the galaxy's human and alien factions.

Deimos Rising is a top-down sci-fi-themed shooter with classic gameplay. One or two players can work their way through the game's 12 levels, and there are a variety of power-ups to be found along the way.
