Amazon's Summer Sale Has Deals On Awesome RPGs And More

A select group of console games are seeing steep discounts in Amazon's new summer sale.

Amazon tends to have new games below list price all the time, some of the cheapest prices for older games, and tends to price-match other retailers' sales. That said, it's rare to see a notable group of games appear among Amazon's deals. Right now, however, some console games are discounted up to 30% off as part of Amazon's current "Big Summer Sale Event." PS4 and Xbox One players have the most options here, but there are a few great Switch games on sale as well.

Considered by some to be one of the greatest RPGs ever made, Divinity: Original Sin 2's Definitive Edition is down to just $19 for PS4 and Xbox One. It earned a rare 10/10 in GameSpot's Divinity: Original Sin 2 review for its spectacular scope and depth, detailed plot, expansive tactical combat, and more. "This immaculately conceived and emotion-wrought fantasy world, topped by brilliant tactical combat, make it one of the finest games of recent years, and it remains an instant classic in the pantheon of RPG greats," wrote critic Brett Todd.

If you're itching to play more Final Fantasy after finishing FFVII Remake, you can snag the excellent Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for just under $30 on Switch.

Aside from the games sale, Amazon is also dropping prices on the Sega Genesis Mini, a stainless steel Animal Crossing: New Horizons water bottle, and a downright adorable Master Chief plush.
