Unless you're subscribed to all of the various anime streaming services, it can be tricky to find legal ways to watch some of the new and best anime releasing these days, and some of them just aren't available to stream. Fortunately, Amazon has kicked off another big sale on top-selling anime films and series, offering an affordable way to watch and add some incredible anime to your collection.

The sale notably includes three excellent movies from Japanese filmmaker Mamoru Hosoda. Wolf Children tells the emotional story of a woman who falls in love with a man who can transform into a wolf; together, they have two half-wolf, half-human children. Normally $18, Wolf Children is on sale for just $12. You should also snag The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, which has similar themes to Your Name including time travel, teenagers, and romance, for $22.49. Summer Wars, which follows a boy who's a part-time moderator in a VR-simulated world, is also discounted to $14.49.

As far as anime series, you can pick up the complete series Blu-rays for great shows like The Devil is a Part-Timer, which imagines what might happen if Satan had to take on a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant in the human world. The whole series is available for $22.39. You can also snag the first season of shows like Overlord, New Game, and Psycho-Pass, all well-worth your time if you're looking for a new anime to watch this summer.

You can check out the full anime sale at Amazon and see more of our picks below. If you're more interested in streaming anime than owning copies of your favorite movies or shows, be sure to see our recent guide to the best anime streaming services--we've broken down the top anime subscriptions from platforms like Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hidive so it's easy to pick the right one for you.
