Sega has today released a list of the 20 games that it's planning to show at E3 next month, 10 of which hadn't been announced previously. One such game is Altered Beast, which is currently in development for the PlayStation 2. In the game, players will assume the role of a special military operative who has the ability to transform into a variety of powerful beast forms. Charged with investigating a deadly genetic outbreak in a small West Coast town, players will be hunted by all manner of unspeakable horrors, and, as they progress through the game, they will discover that to overcome evil they must become more than evil.

We'll bring you more information on Altered Beast, which has not yet been concept-approved by Sony Computer Entertainment America, when we report live from E3 on May 14-16.
