Alpha Centauri Books Announced

Firaxis Games has announced the release of Centauri Dawn by Michael Ely, the first of three novels based on Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. The novels are being published by Pocket Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. Centauri Dawn takes place in the world of Alpha Centauri, as the Unity survivors attempt to rebuild human civilization on an alien planet long after Earth has been lost. It chronicles one man's struggles in an attempt to build a lasting peace.
