Nothing lasts forever.

Microsoft has confirmed the first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in February, and there are six games departing the service on February 15.

One of the titles slated for removal is CrossfireX, a hyped Xbox console exclusive that is shutting down for good in May 2023. Other titles leaving Game Pass on February 15 include the strategy game Besiege, as well as Infernax, Recompile, Skul: The Hero Slayer, and The Last Kids on Earth.

As usual, Game Pass subscribers save 20% on all Game Pass titles, so that's a silver lining at least for people who want to keep playing.

As for games coming to Game Pass in the first half of February, the biggest is Madden NFL 23, which arrives on February 9. That's just ahead of the Super Bowl this weekend. Other games coming to Game Pass in the first half of February include Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, Cities: Skylines, and Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition.
