All the DLC Confirmed for Monster Hunter Generations: Link, Star Fox, and More

Check out all the 3DS downloadable content we know about so far.

As with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, the upcoming Monster Hunter Generations will offer a number of free downloadable content packs. We've gathered up a list of everything confirmed so far for you below.

While 4 Ultimate received a good deal of other content, some of the best stuff came in the form of costumes and gear based on other games. Understandably, this is the sort of thing Capcom has chosen to focus on ahead of Generations' release.

We don't yet have release dates for any of the content, nor do we know how often it will be released; 4 Ultimate saw new content monthly.

Generations launches for 3DS on July 15. For more on what to expect, check out GameSpot's review and review roundup.

The version of Link coming to Generations is based on the design seen in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. You'll be able to dress up your Palico in the familiar green outfit, complete with a Master Sword and Hylian Shield (though it's unclear if those are usable). The video also shows a Link-style spin attack.

Strider protagonist Hiryu gets his own weapon and armor set, complete with a scarf and sword. Although you'll have only a single sword, it looks like you'll be using it as the Dual Blades weapon type.

Mega Man

Not only can you dress up like Mega Man, but you change color at the end of your combos, too.
