Director Robert Rodriguez has a long track record when it comes to making comic book-inspired movies, from adaptations of Sin City and Alita: Battle Angel to his own hugely popular Spy Kids movies. It's his skill at making adventures for younger audiences that he's tappe into for his upcoming Netflix movie We Can Be Heroes, which hits Netflix in January. The first images have now been released.

The film focuses on the children of a group of superheroes, who have been captured by alien invaders. The kids must team up to save their parents--and save the world in the process. The images show the youthful team, plus some of the adult cast, which includes Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, The Predator), Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian), and Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Baywatch).
