Acclaim is developing an action adventure game based on the popular television series.

Acclaim Studios Cheltenham is working on a third-person action adventure game for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC based on the hit television show Alias. The game places you in the role of the series' main character, Sydney Bristow (played by Jennifer Garner). Sydney is a double agent in the employ of the CIA who has been working undercover to bring down the criminal organization SD-6 from the inside. The game version of Alias will focus on Sydney's continuing fight against Arvin Sloane, the head of SD-6 and the man who killed her fiancé.

In her fight against Sloane, Sydney will have several tools at her disposal. The game's combat engine allows you to perform a variety of hand-to-hand combos against enemies. Oftentimes, though, moving stealthily will be a more appropriate course of action than engaging foes head-on. You'll have access to a number of high-tech gadgets, and the game's environments will also feature a degree of interactivity, allowing you to manipulate many objects to your advantage.

The game version of Alias features an original story and script from the writers of the television show. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
