Global Star Software, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, has today announced that it will release Airport Tycoon 2 for the PC in February next year. The game, in which players face the challenges of building and maintaining a successful international airport, is currently in development at Sunstorm Interactive.

After choosing one of 25 locations from around the globe--including Chicago, London, Moscow, and Tokyo, among others--players must concern themselves with many different aspects of airport management, including everything from the reliability of airlines and the quality of customer service to ensuring adequate security and coping with major disasters.

Airport Tycoon 2 is currently scheduled for release in February 2003. We'll bring you more information on the game as it becomes available.
