Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Tournament update

Microsoft has announced the winners of the American and Canadian regional tournaments in its Age of Empires II: The Conquerors International Tournament. Canadian champion AzurePoet and US champion Gx_Iron will face off against the winners of other regional competitions in the world finals, which will be held on October 24 in Redmond, Wash. Age of Empires game designer Bruce Shelley will host the event. The overall value of cash prizes is more than $100,000, and the winner of the world championship will receive $50,000.
