Adam Sandler Attached To Upcoming Netflix Movie From Tonight Show Writer

Another Sandler-related film is set to be in development at Netflix.

The new head writer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Rebecca Drysdale, has a feature spec script currently in development at Netflix. According to Deadline, the script, “Dan Pan”, has attracted Adam Sandler to the project.

Drysdale previously co-wrote the independent film Beck, which won the U.S. Fiction Award at the L.A. Film Festival. Drysdale has also appeared on Orange Is The New Black, Arrested Development, and 30 Rock as an actress.

Nothing is currently known about what the film is about or how heavily involved Sandler is. It's unclear whether or not this film will be a part of the deal Sandler made with Netlfix to make four more movies with the streaming giant.

Adam Sandler's last big acting job, Uncut Gems, has received high praise and awards for Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay from the National Board of Review. We awarded the film an 8/10 in our Uncut Gems review.
