Activision spending big on Underground promotion
North American advertising and marketing campaign for Tony Hawk's Underground will be the largest in Activision's history.
Activision announced that its North American advertising and marketing campaign for Tony Hawk's Underground will be the largest in the company's history. Scheduled for release on all current console platforms on October 27, Tony Hawk's Underground is the fifth game in the popular Tony Hawk series of skateboarding games.
Tony Hawk's Underground will be featured in a number of upcoming MTV sports shows and will debut with promotional support from the likes of AT&T Wireless, Nestle's Butterfinger, Tombstone Pizza, DC Shoes, Adio, Nixon, Billabong, Hawk Clothing, Vans, Volcom, Transworld SKATEboarding, Von Zipper, and Quiksilver. The game will also be advertised on 5,000 movie screens during previews for such movies as Matrix: Revolutions and Scary Movie 3.
