Activision: Call of Duty: Ghosts is best-selling PS4 game so far
Publisher says FPS is the top-selling PlayStation 4 game to date, and is the most preordered Xbox One game at many North American retailers.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is the best-selling PlayStation 4 game so far, Activision announced today, citing data from North American retailers Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Wal-Mart.
"We couldn't be more excited about the consumer response as we look forward to this Friday's release of Xbox One. As we've said before, it's a great time to be a gamer, and a great time for Call of Duty fans," Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg said.
Activision did not provide any details regarding how well Call of Duty: Ghosts is selling through the PS4's digital store. The game is available there for $60 or as a $10 "upgrade" for those who already purchased the PlayStation 3 version.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available for Xbox One at launch on Friday. According to Activision, the game is the most preordered title at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Wal-Mart, though specific figures were not provided.
Call of Duty: Ghosts originally launched on November 5, generating $1 billion at retail in its first 24 hours. Notably, however, this figure includes units sold to retailers, not to consumers.
