Accolade's Jim Barnett Becomes Chairman

Accolade's president and CEO, Jim Barnett, was named chairman of the board for the company, according to a press release issued on Tuesday. Before Barnett joined Accolade in 1994 ,he was the COO of Storybook Heirlooms and president of The Spectrum Group.

"Jim's promotion reflects the superb leadership role that he has played in the strong growth and success of Accolade," said Paul Vidich, senior vice president of Warner Music Group and former chairman and continuing member of Accolade's board of directors.

In the past two years, according to Accolade, its sales have increased 150 percent and are expected to grow by another 75% in this fiscal year.
